so i think this was by far the best year ever!

the year before my senior friends graduated;; dances, senior dinner, senior trip to washington dc, great sports seasons. just overall amazing. but i think 2010 is going to be even better because its a new beginning aka college! which i am both nervous and excited for at the same time. because i have options!!! woo for me. but i haven't decided yet because i'm waiting on my number 1 choice.

christmas is my favorite time of year because i love the cold. its going to snow tonight into tomorrow so christmas will be white in conn.! [sidenote: conn. was ranked #50 in the happiest state poll lol and 51 was new york--well that doesn't surprise me too much] but yeah so today i went to mohegan sun for lunch with my family and tomorrow it's going to snow so i plan to stay home and get work done. i wrapped my friends presents today so i didn't' have to worry about it this week. but i have full days of school monday and tuesday [when we are basically doing nothing] and then wednesday is a half day and i'm spending it with my "sister" who's coming home from college! we are going driving to random places, blarring music. fun. fun. then thursday my family is coming over for christmas eve and then christmas more family is coming over! yayyyyy! love christmas. then the 26th my family and i always go shopping. 27th i'm going to rhode island to see my mom's cousins who are great. and the rest of the week i'm chilling probably with my friends and new years eve is spent with my college amigas who are home for winter break.

as a senior this year i am going through the many stresses of looking for colleges; waiting to be excepted etc. so i have decided to start a photo project that kind of represents my senior year and gets me ready for college....you'll see :) i'll start today !

well i am just writing a letter saying how i will not be on buzznet [most likely] at all until around november because i started volleyball today and practice was 8-11; 1-3 and the first three hours was conditioning so i am poooooped. and with volleyball practice/games on top of the outrageous school schedule i got going on and hopefully working i wont be on buzznet as much as i like. :(

thats pretty much it though because i just bought hair curlers the other day which was a great purchase!

so the other day i was checking my email and i got one from buzznet titled "CONGRATS MY FAVORITE HIGHWAY CONTEST WINNER"

so i started freaking out and couldn't remember signing up for any contest but then i remembered i did it a while back and i ended up winning two tickets to see my favorite highway friday @ the webster underground in hartford :)

i've never won anything in my life [other than dumb things] so i am SUPER EXCITED to go to this concert because i wanted to go in the first place but i am broke, just got back from warped tour, and it was sold out because the venue fits 200people max which is dumb because they should have it in the theater but whateverr

so today i got another email saying i'm on my favorite highway's guest list which made me feel really special [even though its not really that amazing i guess...but i'm excited]

 

but another great thing about this week was i got my LICENSE -finally :)

i'm getting MONEY! because i'm working at a sports camp this entire week :)

and i went shopping the other day and got an owl shirt from forever 21 for 4bucks, black pacsun jeans from a consignment shop for 12bucks!, and a pacsun cardigan for 4bucks. --so i had some great deals

& i passed my AP TEST :)! which i was worried about because english is not my best subject

& i got an A on my first APbiology summer work assignment

 

but i do have to start working on more summer work for UConn english & AP biology which sucks but i could have worse things to do but i was working at a farmers market and they decided to close it because it wasn't making any money so now i have to go see if i can find another job for the summer which will be nearly impossible but worth the shot...

so to start off this journal-

for anyone that was planning on seeing year one i strongly recommend against it unless you are in the mood for a completely dumb/no plot kid of movie. OR just want to stare at michael cera all night (which is what i did lol :))

took my bestest friend marissaaaaaaaaa out for her birthday; she knew we were going to see year one because she LOVES michael cera but what she didn't know was that we were inviting her friends stephanie and priya from other towns. so when we walked into the movie theater we were getting out money for tickets and such and marissa was like this is enough right? and i was like is it enough for 5 tickets and she was like whattt? there are THREE of us here and meaghan was like well rachael took the liberty of inviting priya and stephanie and marissa started freaking out! it was great i'm was so happy she loved my idea =D

then after the horrible movie we went out to coldstonee...delish coffee ice cream!

and while we were waiting for rides [since none of us are legal to drive each other yet :(] we took some pictures before my fucking camera battery died which i charged right before i left and it lasted all of 5 minutes.

so i'm honestly trying to get to bed but i am not tired in the least. right now it's 11pm eastern time and i wanna get as much sleep as i can because i know i'm going to be up late studying tomorrow night and i want to be as awake as possible. i guess coffee is going to be my best friend. love it :D

i'm getting my hair cut tomorrow real short and i'm PUMPED! i've been waiting for so long to get it cut but i haven't had time lately with softball and school and busy schedules in general so finally tomorrow at five i will get it done!!

i've been worrying a lot lately about what i wanna do with my life; i've wanted to be a physician assistant for a long time which requires five years of college and a crap load of work so in order to prepare i am taking

i'm definitely going to kill myself and i think i'm going to lower down the levels of some of my classes like calculus because its ridiculous how much i've got going on here!!!! why do i bring this upon myself i'm insaneeeeeee literally.

it's just one of those times that you just wish you were far away at college because of everything that's going on in your life that pretty much sucks. well my "friends" are being bitches for the most part although my best friends are still there :) my coach is being dumb, my mom is bitching at me about everything and got so mad at me just because i thought i was getting my haircut tomorrow but then she was like nooo nooo i sent you that email remember blahhh blahhh blahh and its just like i'm sorry i dont remember!

sorry i'm blabbing. but i'm watching another cinderella story hoping to relax and then i'll probably go in my room and draw my meg and dia picture which i'm proud of how it's turning out.

well thats my sucky life right now but we all have those days...i'm just not in the mood right now. i wanna go run again because i was a fatty and had pretzel/chips & dip which makes me feel gross so i wanna go run my mile and hike the hill again because i'm trying to watch what i eat and that wasn't good :( that doesnt' help my mood either.

now i have to wait until next fucking tuesday for a haircut FUCK MY LIFE. i hate stresses.

so yesterday my softball team were in our conference tournament which involved us playing two games if we won the first one...if we lost then we just went home but we won the first game against a team we lost twice to in the regular season in 11 innings 5-3 :) which pumped us up.

and not only did we win but the other team playing beat the no. 1 seed in the conference which helped us out a lot because after playing almost two games in one we had 45min to relax and then play the no. 4 seed who we kicked butt 6-2 declaring us CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!

idk how that no 4 seed knocked out the no 1 seed but they did and we WONNNNNNNN!! it basically made my life cause we have been working so hard for this and we did it :D!

 

i've also lost 10 lbs since becoming a vegetarian and it feels great because i hate my body and really wanna loose more weight before senior year and stuff...so i'm off to a great start!!

@metropark; i saw this the other day when i was shopping and i kick myself for not buying it then :(!

for softball we made spirit boxes which are boxes filled with dollar store fun goodies and i had my best friend :D and since everything didn't fit in one box i made two boxes...one of her and one of travis from we the kings [i was in touch with my creative side]

 

and this is my neighbors new puppy; LUCKY! i had to take pictures of him for digital photography. it was a pet project and since i am currently petless :( i took pictures of him and they came out SOOO cute :D i was so happy.

 

 

i have also had a TON of softball and according to the city newspaper we are the "Team to Beat" which made my team and i really excitedddd...

 

also i was wondering how i should get my hair cut for my senior pictures and it currently looks like this;;

i have bangs too sorta...they just look like shit so i pull them back...i was thinking shorter and with bangs? but what do you think honestly please cause i can't make up my mind...!

 

this will probably be my last journal for a while because i have softball and major studying for my AP english test next week..wahoo i cannot wait until summer! WARPED TOUR &&& THE CAB HEADLINING TOUR WHATDUPPP!!

 

so i have decided that all pop songs sound way better when they are done screamo!

ie- a static lullaby did toxic by britney spears and it sounds wayyyyyyyy better than when britney does it [and lately i have been a fan of bspears so i'm not saying it as a hater] so i've been listening to that cd on repeat the past few days :D

 

so i def. recommend checking it out if you haven't already which i'm sure everybody already has minus me lol.

i'm wiped outttttt! my shoulder feels like its out of the socket [which sounds gross i know but its true] and i feel like an outsider between all of my friends except my bestest one who is in canada right now :( i miss herrrrrr and i can't wait to talk to her when she gets back.

 

i am currently listening to alexander william gaskarth's myspace song stick stones and techno...but i'll be changing it soon to something else that i dont know yet. it's been nice to be on vacation and away from school but softball is taking up a ton of my time so its less time to hang out with my friends but i might be going to the kiss 95.7 summer kick off concert with my "sister" [another friend who my family adopted with microsoft word documents so its legit] & we the kings, boys like girls, lady gaga, flo rida and the veronicas are playing and its 10 bucks so it would be a good time.

 

hope everyones vacations are going well mine is not going as great as planned but whatevs it will get better cause i have some good plans towards the end of the week and i'm really just loving doing nothing to be honest because i'm exhausted and you cant do a gazillion things in a day so its nice to relax but its also break so i wanna stay up late and party it up but oh well...i'll do that in the latter half of the week! whattttttupppppppp..

 

i'm so sad that my henna is wearing off because of softball and that i am always putting on lotion or washing my hands cause of the dirt but my friend has a henna kit so i will just go all out with that when we get together soon because i really do love henna.

 

i want the cab to come out with a new cd especially after hearing the little mix thing that marshall and alex [singer] came up with on his blog because while at first i was a tad iffy about it...after listening to it for a while i really do like it more and more. i just wish there was more of alex singing. and i wanna go to a concert SOOOO bad. i dont care what concert i just gotta go cause its killing me not going for like two months. [which is so bad but...its a sickness what can i say?]

well i am posting this journal because i have decided that i'm going to sort of taking a break from my 365 [not that i have been keeping up with it anyways =X] but i am going to start a 2month thing starting monday because i am going to get in shape in start a whole health thing before prom may 16....so starting this monday and on i will do like one thing about me for two months and maybe continue with it or go back to my 365. I am so self-concious [like i feel most girls are] and i really wanna change that so i will.. :D

literally that's what i'm doing today...driving. i had drivers ed from 9-11 [yeah great way to start off your saturday morning bright and early with a waste of time driving class] and then i drove there and back and now i have driving with the instructor for two hours from 1-3 yay! >:o this is gonna be so much fun NOT!

i'm so not looking forward to it because it's my first one and i don't really know what to expect. I hope the instructor isn't a creeper and the kid i have to bring home isn't one either...

wow! last night i went to the take action! tour at the one and only webster theater [actually i dont even know if it's really the one and only but anyways...] and it was amazinggggggggg!!!!!!!!!! i hadn't been to a concert since november but it felt like longer because i missed it so much. i love when they first start playing and your heart constantly keeps beating and your ears feel like they are going to explode...greatest feeling ever!
so when we got there i went to the merch tables and got a take action bracelet from the anarbor table with their name on it and it also says 'sub city' it is amazing and i love it :D my friend also got this mega cute cute is what we aim for bag..
then we got inside and it was pretty crowded but we pushed up to the front on the left side of the stage which was a great place to be because by the time every avenue came on second we were in the very front !!
so first anarbor played and kicked ass; they are officially on my top ten bands list because they are so amazing and they rock out like crazy and mike [guitar] has great hair! and slade has a great voice too...just amazing.
then every avenue came on and they were great too. i had wanted to see them for such a long time and they sound just as great live as they do on their cd.
third was meg&dia; who i love but they just didn't seem to fit into all the bands around them but i love meg's voice nonetheless and their cute plaid shirts. it made me so happy that they played indiana and halloween [which i recorded cause its my favorite song]
fourth was breathe carolina; who i just started to listen to and loved them instantly. they reminded me of 3OH!3 with screaming instead of rapping which was better. their show was by far one of the best ever...definately pumped me up to the extreme. it did suck cause their microphones kept going out and at one point you could only hear the screaming but it was okay because they had this crazy light show going on and it was just great!! & i'm so looking forward to seeing them at warped tour this summer :]. they also played see you again by miley cyrus which is going on the pop goes punk2 cd and it was insane!
last was cute is what we aim for and i love them even more than when i stepped foot in the theater. shaant was amazing and his obama shirt kicked ass along with his celtics/uconn talk :) and my friend and i were standing by jeff and he got up on the stereo in front of the stage and he was within reaching distant of me it was great. and shaant and i locked gaze for all of 5-10 seconds [which sounds completely corny and weird but it was great hehe] and at the end when slade came out to sing with shaant completed my night because i love anarbor&slade :D.

all in all great night and if you have the chance go to this tour!
10% ticket proceeds also go to a good cause which is great and more bands should do and its kinda crazy to think that if there are at least 500 people at each concert and there are 40 shows thats a shitload of money! like over 30,000 which is quite crazy if you think about it~ so anyways...GO! its great! and i'll put up pictures later :D
